I am Clara Jones, I don’t usually write reviews, good or bad. But after what I went through with Embody, I felt I owed it to other people considering this company to share my story. If you’re thinking about ordering GLP-1 or GIP medication from Embody, please read this first.
How It Started
Like a lot of people, I’d been researching GLP-1 and GIP options for a while before deciding to try Embody. Their website looked professional, the ordering process was smooth, and I felt hopeful about starting this next step. I placed my order, paid, and waited for it to arrive, expecting the kind of straightforward experience their marketing promised.
That hope didn’t last long.
The Package That Never Came
The estimated delivery window came and went, and I had nothing. No box on my doorstep, no notification, nothing. I checked my order status online, and here’s where things started to fall apart: there were no real tracking details provided. I couldn’t see where my package actually was, what carrier was handling it, or any meaningful update on its location.
Then, to make matters worse, my order status flipped to “delivered.” Except it wasn’t. I checked with neighbors, checked around my property, checked with my building — nothing. My medication had apparently vanished into thin air, according to Embody’s own system, while I was left standing there with an empty mailbox and a lot of questions.
Customer Care That Didn’t Care
Naturally, my next step was to contact Embody’s customer service team. This is where I expected the situation to get resolved quickly. Instead, it turned into weeks of frustration.
Every time I reached out, I got a different version of events. One representative told me the package was “in transit” even though the system said it had been delivered. Another suggested I check with my local post office, as if it were somehow my job to track down a package that their own carrier had lost or misdelivered. I felt like I was being passed around and given answers just to get me off the phone or off the chat window, rather than actual solutions.
I asked repeatedly for real tracking information so I could file a claim or at least understand what had happened. That information was never clearly provided. I was left in the dark, following up again and again, while my paid-for medication was nowhere to be found.
Two Months for a Refund
After going back and forth for what felt like forever, I finally asked for a full refund. I want to be clear: I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I paid for a product. I never received that product. I simply wanted my money back.
What should have been a simple, fast resolution turned into a two-month waiting game. Two months of following up, re-explaining my situation to different representatives, and wondering if I’d ever see my money again. Eventually, the refund did come through, but by then the damage to my trust in this company was already done.
Why I’m Sharing This
I’m not writing this to be dramatic or to try to ruin anyone’s day. I’m sharing this because I wish someone had told me before I placed my order. A company handling health-related products, especially something as important as GLP-1 or GIP medication, needs to have reliable shipping, honest tracking, and customer service that actually resolves problems instead of stalling them.
My experience with Embody didn’t meet any of those basic expectations. Between the missing package, the false “delivered” status, the lack of real tracking information, and the two-month wait just to get my own money back, I can’t in good conscience recommend them to anyone.
My Advice
If you’re considering ordering from Embody, do your research, ask a lot of questions before you commit, and go in with realistic expectations about how customer service issues might be handled if something goes wrong. For me, this was a stressful, disappointing experience from start to finish and one I don’t plan on repeating.
Stay informed, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself the way I eventually had to.
