I chose Embody because the advertised GLP-1 program appeared affordable and straightforward. Unfortunately, the amount charged to my card was higher than the price I expected. Additional service and shipping fees appeared during the final stages of checkout, and the billing information was difficult to understand. A promotional discount I entered was shown as accepted, but it was not reflected in the final charge.
I contacted customer service and asked for an itemized explanation. The first representative sent a generic description of the program instead of explaining the charges. Another representative gave me a completely different answer. I was also enrolled in recurring billing, although I did not understand that my purchase would automatically renew. When I attempted to cancel, I could not find a clear option in my account.
Embody continued billing me while my complaint remained unresolved. The lack of pricing transparency made me feel misled.
I would never use Embody again after this frustrating experience.
